This new north campus complex was designed to be seen as a landmark along a major Detroit Interstate with high-volume traffic. Water and glass were used on the exterior facade to signify purity and reflections. Stained glass was used to introduce traditional elements to the rather modern 21st Century worship facility. Landscaping and circulation patterns were extensively studied during the design of this structure.
